Fezzik and Inigo decided to play their own game of Magic: The Gathering. They were a few turns in when I needed them to come to the table to eat. Inigo declared they were at a “save point” as he put his cards down. That’s my boy.
Fezzik and I had an epic game of Magic: The Gathering. He used a planeswalker ability to create 9 6/6 creatures. I had an army, including a 12/12 creature. He attacked with everything. I killed a couple of his creatures and blocked the rest. I ended up with 4 creatures. he was out of blockers, so I attacked with everything and one. I pointed out that he had forgotten to use his planeswalker’s other ability to create a 3/3 creature, which would have allowed him to block my biggest guy, which would have allowed him to live. The net result is that he thinks he won, which I don’t mind. I told him that in the future there would be no reminders, and he has to win or lose on his own.
Fezzik and Inigo woke up early, as usual. Today, they decided to play Lego Batman 2. After a rocky start, they managed to work as a team through 2 levels.
This evening, we learned a game called Duck Duck Go! It’s like Robo Rally for first graders.
Tonight, Fezzik (7) and Inigo (4) played Formula D with us! Inigo has practiced the game with Daddy, but this was our first 4 player game.
