This is an adventure for 4th level characters. Use stats from the SRD if desired.
Setting: a small town in a fantasy universe. Each PC has the mind of a 7-10 year old child. However, due to an accident, each child finds themselves in the body of the hero that they pretend to be when playing with other kids around town. Each player should have a child name and their pretend name, and they can go by either during the game. It’s fine to allow all the PCs to find the magic item their old adventuring mom or dad has in the closet.

Plot
- Each child wakes up in the morning to discover the bed is too small and their clothes are ripped. They have been transformed into young adults with powers and skills.
- All the adults are missing. There are initially no signs of struggle.
- All the kids in town that play “adventurer” are here, except Kevin.
- Encounter: they are attacked by summoned animals.
- Encounter: when they explore the town, they are attacked by illusory “sorcerers” who use magic missile on them.
- Encounter: the kids find Kevin’s wizard character tied up by genie
- Genie will not voluntarily restore the town and doesn’t want to grant wishes. PCs must capture him first.
NPCs
- Kevin, the wimpy kid. He made a wish to a genie to turn himself into a sorcerer. The wish was twisted to cause what occurred in town. Kevin tried to attack the PCs. Things got out of hand, and the genie got out and started taking his revenge on Kevin.
Monsters:
- Lion (CR 3), Tiger (CR 4), Bear (CR 2)
- Illusions: magic missile sorcerers (number should depend on number of PCs)
- Genie (use stats for Noble Djinni, 10 hit dice = 52 hp) The genie should be size medium most of the time, and puff up to large when he’s pissed.
